Welcome to Puzzleroo
Puzzleroo is a new home for short daily puzzles. There are eleven games, each with one new puzzle a day, and every puzzle is the same for everybody who plays it.
The official first day is 10 November 2026. The games are already playable while we finish the site, so if you have found us early, have a go and tell us what you think.
What you can play
- Word games. LETTERS hides a six-letter word, NEAR ranks your guesses by meaning, and LINKS asks you to sort twenty tiles into five groups.
- Geography. OUTLINE shows you a country's shape, CAPITAL asks for its capital, and ROUTE has you join two countries by land.
- Maths. TARGET is a numbers game with six numbers and a total to hit; EQUATE hides an equation for you to deduce.
- Logic and cipher. BEACONS and MINI-GRID are pure logic grids, and CIPHER is a coded quotation to crack.
How it fits together
Every game is scored out of 1,000, so a good day at one counts the same as a good day at another. Finish a puzzle and it adds to your streak for that game, and to an all-games streak for days when you played anything at all.
Choose a display name and your scores appear on the daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards. If you would rather compete with people you know, start a league and share the link.
You do not need an account to play. If you make one, your streaks and scores follow you from phone to laptop.
Where the puzzles come from
All of them are our own. The number and logic puzzles are generated by our own software and checked to have exactly one solution that can be reached without guessing. The word and grouping puzzles are written for this site. The attributions page credits the open data the geography and word games are built on.
What is next
A proper design is on its way: at the moment the site is deliberately plain. After that come an archive of past puzzles and practice modes. We will write about each as it arrives.
